Can't join password protected regions

I got the password wrong a few times, and now it says this has been temporarily disabled for me?

Question is, how long is temporary? How long do I have to wait?

Never mind, I think it's about 20 minutes!

Only a few minutes. It is 45 minutes, I believe. Alternatively you could ask a delegate/founder to lift it for you.

45 minutes, yes, for both regions and nations.

I do that several times each day, because of stupid puppets have different passwords :sniper:

There have been 1 bad login attempt(s) since your last successful login.

I'm thankfully not that bad, but when I do it, it is indeed with puppet passwords.

something you could do is write down all of your passwords and have them organized to keep them in order. thats what i have done since i started to play

I have them all written down, but I have many puppets running around. :p

try to t.g your main nation ( not a puppet) with the current passwords, that way you have a up to date list of passwords even your puppets, when they go somewhere new write down the password and T.G. it to your main nation for records

It's a bad idea to ever have a list of passwords sitting in your TG inbox. ;) Too many bad things could happen if your nation account was ever cracked.

I hate losing my passwords. I've probably lost them 20 times in the last year.
Maybe I should write them down...

Write them down, on a yellow post-it note or something, heck if your at home, write it all over your wall in big red paint!

Or perhaps a less extreme and sensible way, put them in a Word or NotePad document, or an email to yourself if you don't always sign in on the same computer.

Make sure you have your email address on your nations settings just in case you do lose them.

I like to use Mozille Firefox. It has a builtin option that lets me remember passwords. I use it primarily for NS. This is good for anyone with dozens of puppets and is too lazy to remember the passwords.

It blocks you out so that extremely dedicated region crashers can't use "brute force" hacks. 45 minutes isn't too much, though.

if you are worried about nation hacking then you need a longer and harder password, dont be afraid of using a (ex) 5hdy76m4u type password, they have the best protection there is according to microsoft. but a down side to using this kind of passwording is you have a long list of random numbers and leters to remember.

Or keep them in a passworded file on your word processor, and copy and paste as necessary -- and pray you don't forget the password to the file!

I think it varies depending on how many times you make bad password guesses.

No one else uses my computer, so I don't need to password any file *gloats* :D

<--Sometimes is silly and forgets her own passwords :p

This is why I save all my passwords through Mozilla; then, I never have to remember them! :p
