empty Warzone ban expiration

Warzone Airspace was emptied out by the delegate 3 days ago and is still empty. Ejected nations are still banned.

Don't Warzone regional bans expire more frequently than this? Is it possible that the region is not updating because it is empty? In that case, do the ejected nations need to wait until someone inhabits the region before they can get back in?

to ask the question is to answer it...

You are correct. The warzones only update if there are nations in that region. Otherwise the warzones would be deleted at updates.

If there are no nations in a region, and it is not a game-created region (Pacifics, Rejected Realms (not that those would ever empty out, but anyway..)), it will be deleted at update. However, I was not aware that bans ever expired... I thought they had to be removed by a nation with access to Regional Control. But then I've never heard of any special "warzone" regions either, so I don't really know...

The warzones are 6 game-created regions. They were created for invader/defender gameplay. They cannot be password protected, spamming is allowed, the delegate can use mass-ejection etc.

The catch: Bans automaticly expire 2 times a day. :D

Normally, a region that is devoid at reset would cease to exist. Since the region was empty, maybe it would not reset like other regions. Not sure of this glitch. I've moved my nation there and saw that the ban list still have a few nations listed. This is odd. :(

It's seeming like the bans will expire if you are there, or some nation is, as of the next update.

Out of curiousity, what are these regions called?
