How does one go about getting a picture onto a message, from a file instead of the net?

I believe you can use the attachment function to do that, but I've always found it easier to upload to a free hosting service, like http://www.photobucket.com

You can also upload the pics to an offsite forum and link in IMG format. If you don't like photobucket or forum linking, I think attachment is the only way to go. ;)
