That would be nice to know... I don't think it uses the same code as these forums, but I'm not sure.

Tu peux utiliser [b], [i], [u], et [hr].

[hr] est une ligne

J'espère que ceci t'aide :)

The gist of what you want to know... the other lines are just a confirmation and a thank-you.

[hr] est une ligne. = [ hr ] is a line.

It helps to read the other titles of the threads in the Tech forum... especially seeing as there's a thread directly below this one with pretty much the same title...
Myrth, if you check the timestamps in the two topics, you'll notice that Hersfold posted in a day-old topic that had drifted. Not very far, I'll grant you, but it was Hersfold's post that made them side-by-side.

Just trying to be fair to the newbs.

My guess is that bold ([ b ]), italics ([ i ]), underline ([ u ]) and [hr] hard return (line) is the limit for our factbook entries? I was hoping for something like font size, color, hypertext etc. Those first four would do for most applications. It seems the codes work here too, so I had to add spaces.

Yes, those are all that I implemented, or currently plan on implementing. (By the way, [hr] stands for "horizontal rule")

I should have remembered that (horizontal rule). Thanks.

Hard return is simply the enter button and soft return is the end of the line. Boy I need to get some sleep. Now I'm rambling on...

There is also the
([list]) function... ^_^ it works well when listing ethnic groups, languages or anything else you have a list off and makes it into a nice bulleted list ( )

I'll have to give that a try. Which region already uses that feature in it's factbook?

This isn't quite true. A more accurate statement is that we currently have no intentions of implementing these features.

I use code in the factbook of Nasicournia.

Here's a tip to make coding your WFE easier: if you're having troubles, open a reply box here on the forum, and copy in or type the sentence or word you're trying to code. Then, use the forum option right above your reply box by highlighting the phrase or word and hitting the appropriate button (B for bold, I for italics, etc). You can then copy/paste the phrase back into the WFE, and it should work without a problem.

P.S. Oh yeah...try not to hit send to post on this forum what you were copying from here. :p
