The one thing I REALLY hate with taking stances on issues.......

It's that every choice has to be radically towards one side or the other! For example, one I just made was what to do with the golden leopoard (my nations animal) population: eat them, shoot them, or give them more space). Why can't I just leave them alone and/or give hunting periods?! It's like this for like every issue, and it's really annoying because I can't choose what I want on pretty much any issue! Stop with the radical!

Ruman, this is a game based on a satirical book that's all about radical choices. It's not supposed to be realistic - it's supposed to force you to choose from unpalatable choices.

If you don't want to play radical ideas on any given issue, dismiss the issue. You'll see no effects on your nation from dismissed issues.

And on the hunting issue:

If you choose to allow your people to hunt/kill your national animal, you will also get the option of setting limits in another issue that comes up.

But yeah, thats part of the game... issues with wild and radical sides.
