i dont think it is fair to have only 10k size for the flag pic i think that it should be at least 20k or more! i have a great photo but it is 15k i am very angry about this

plz post ur own thoughts on this topic, maybe if enough people are unhappy they will have to change it

I agree, it would have been nice to not have to drop the color count on my current flag, but it's not something that's got my panties in a twist. So, I voted 'no' just to spite you.

Ok, Flag size is currently 10k, well, it used to be 5.5k and I worked Miracles with that size, so 10k is like a mansion compared to a mobile home.
and it is more than enough, in fact I still make them at 5.5

I was making a Flag, on the PC
and it was like blee blee blee blee blee blee bilp
and then like half my flag was gone,
and I was like "Huh?"
It devoured my flag
It was a really good flag,
and then I had to make it again,
and it wasnt as good cause it was just 5.5k
it was a bummer,

Wow. I hadn't noticed yet the flag limit was upped from 5.5 to 10 KB. That's excellent news for all flag aficionados!

I hadn't known either. If it has gotten upgraded once, though, I don't think it's going to get changed again anytime soon... although if Hack didn't know about it, I don't have a clue who actually did switch it...

You give'm an inch and they want a mile (or whatever the saying was)... Flags take up server space, ya know...

I wasn't aware the flag size limit was upped to 10 kb... 5,5 was a bit short sometimes, but 10 should do very well. Thanky!

I noticed it a few days ago when I made a new nation. And yeah, the size used to be 5.5k a few weeks ago, so the thread starter ought to be really grateful that it's 10k now :D

I noticed a while ago, but was surprised that a very welcome feature by users wasn't mentioned in the news page.

Anyway, back to the original post, I'm sure Game Admin would love to give you larger flag sizes IF they could, but they're only designated a certain amount of server space, and they do have over 100,000 users and their flags to look at.

Perhaps you'll offer to send Max a big pot of money so that he can afford the extra bandwidth and storage space? Hmmm, almost a million nations, probably only 120,000 active right now ... people checking page displays about 400 times a second ... say, two grand a month US? You'd have to translate that into AUS just to be fair to poor Max, but I'll leave that to your banker. Let us know when the check clears, wouldja?
