I know that the maximum amount of telegrams you could keep at one time used to be ten, but is there a limit nowadays?

Yeah. A while back the limit was raised to 15. If you look far enough in the NationStates news archives, you can find where the limit raise is mentioned.
Aye, and 'tis a Technical matter, really.

I think the oldest ones disappear off the bottom of your list. That's what's happened to me a couple of times, anyway.

We can have 15 telegrams? I wasn't aware of that.
I don't think the old ones disapear, I think you simply stop receiving new telegrams until you make room in your inbox.

White Lotus Eaters is correct; your oldest ones disappear and get bumped off by the new ones.
Very annoying when this happens.

Space on the server issues, though I seriously could use a larger inbox... hint hint ;)

No, I think 15 more than suffices for anyone's needs. Why would you want to keep all those telegrams in your inbox anyway?

If your telegrams are full, and you are only getting telegrams from the server )UN stuff, mod warnings, etc), there is no limit. But as soon as you get a telegram from a player it'll delete until there are only 15. I was happy with my 18 telegrams too.

I own a region of 200+ nations, I get one heck of a lot of telegrams at busy points. Also if someone asks you to do something via TM, then it serves as a good reminder.
In other words... I do!
