I try posting pictures, using the old method [url of picture, but the pictures come up as just links. How can I make the pictures show on Jolt?

You have to change your settings in your User CP to display images, specifically the Edit Options (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/profile.php?do=editoptions) page.
