Suggestion regarding UN

Would it be possible to send out a telegram when a new resolution is up for voting?

When a resolution gets accepted by the UN, you get a telegram that the resolution gets incorporated into your nation. That's good. However, I don't check the UN too often since there is not always a resolution at vote. It happens quite often too me that I get a telegram by the compliance ministry without even knowing that there was a resolution at vote. Therefore my suggestion.

That's a fairly good idea. It could tell you the name (obviously), what kind of proposal it was, it's strength or the industries it affects, and who sent it in.

The only downside I see is that it would slow down the UN updates, but it shouldn't be by much.

That's why we have new servers ;)

Noooo! Please no!! I hate getting spam as it is when resolutions are passed. I don't care about the UN voting thing, really, and I already despise the UN enough for the "laws have been enacted" thing they send out.

If you're that dedicated to the UN, shouldn't be hard to check every day or so for a new resolution.

I'll pass this idea along to Salusa with the added suggestion that all UN resolution telegrams be controlled by a tick box in your "Settings" page. You don't get UN telegrams about UN resolutions unless you specifiy that you want to get them.

Sounds equivalent to putting the UN on your "blocked telegrammers" list. Maybe it would be easiest just to make that possible.
