It's been at imploded for over a year now. I had a post on this topic on the old boards I made after my economy had been stuck for many months. It was dismissed as not an issue.

Seems to be an issue to me, it's been imploded for going on 15 months with no change.

The Atheist Republic of Khadgar is a massive, safe nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. The large, pro-business government is mainly concerned with Education, although the Environment and Defence are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Drunk drivers are sentenced to death, only the rich can afford the latest medical innovations, the government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups, and fur coats have become the latest fashion trend. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Khadgar's national animal is the kaadu, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the dollar.

Khadgar is ranked 1st in the region and 5,357th in the world for Greatest Rich-Poor Divides.

It will take a large amount of time for large nations such as yourself to change the economy (same goes for civil rights and polictical freedoms)

Though its taken a year or so to get here, all I can suggest is keep at it.

Or try moving out and back into your region, you have been there a huge amount of time.

I'd look for the issue about taking to the streets (four wheels bad, two wheels good?), and choose to give the automotive industry more funding. That usually bumps me up a rating or two, but it does increase taxes a lot.

well if your economy isnt moving it might be that there is only 1% taxation, my counrty pays 58% taxes, which will likely rise due to the space program i just passed :)

A lower tax rate generally stimulates an economy. Though subsidizing industry with tax money would too. Dunno, any rate still stuck at imploded.
