Someone changed my password and email on the actual game. I want it changed back. You can believe that it is me because I have this password on the forums. I want to be able to change the email back. You can check that it was recently changed. Try and help me out here please. My nation is Grenval.

I found out what happened. My brother entered my email address as . My actual email is [email].com. I am excluding some for obvious reasons. But I need the new password sent to the right address. Can someone please reply.

Okay. Nevermind the above. Since no one will help, if any of the moderators even care, do not do anything, I will figure it.

Well, if you want a new password, the mods have to send it to the adress on the nation. If that is an invalid adress, than you have nothing left to do than try to guess the password, or torture your brother into telling it. Do not mention me, when you do so. I feel very not reponsible here :p

Yeah, I just got it out of my brother a minute ago, so it is all good.

But, it is too easy to figure out the password, if you know the email, then you can change the password.

I have to stress the importance of "operational security". Keep your passwords secure. If someone steals your password, then in many such cases, there is nothing we can do about it. You are responsible for your own account. You will likely find that this is the case in many, many places: It's important to protect your passwords.

I know it sounds harsh, but our options in dealing with these situations are limited.

Also remember that we're quite busy in real life. The entire staff is composed of volunteers, and we have responsibilites outside NationStates. So, even in cases where we can do something, it may take us a while to get to your problem.
