I think it would be a good idea if, on the side bar, where the link to your issues is, it said Issues(# of issues). It would be an easy way to see the number of issues you have when you aren't on the issues screen or your country's homepage. Just a suggestion.

I think this is similar to what Hersfold wanted to do with the telegrams. The problem with that idea is that it requires a frequent refresh, which could be bad for some players.
But! It's a good idea! It would be nice to easily see if the update had happened without always having to look.
