I was thinking it might be a good idea to allow people to choose what the plural of their currency is and what environment their animal lives in. It's kind of annoying in my country where people are talking about spending "Denariuss" (should be "Denarii" or at least "Denariuses") and about how my dolphins like to frolick in the forests or about how they're causing trouble in neighborhoods.

point taken, but it seems like twould take programmers lots of wasted time to do it. maybe there an odd species of dolphin. if it really bugs u u may want to change yer animal.

Why not? it could actually happen. now, i may not be very experienced in how the issues are coded, but if im not wrong, the currency name's code is derived from what we type in as our currency, so, if we put in two entries for currency e.g. singular and plural, the currency that is used in the issues could be called "Currency (plural)" in Settings and what the currency term that is used in our description page could be called "Currency (singular)".
so, in summary, the changes would be 1) in the settings page, the text in front of the box could be renamed to "Currency (Plural), no changes to the issue coding would ever be made, 2) add in a extra text box called "currencydescription" and the text in front of it would be "Currency (singular)" and finally 3) change the code in the description page (which i assume is in one sole page) to account for the new "currencydescription".
as for the animals, it wouldn't really work, because it seems most of the issues that affect the national animal is 'forest-based'.

It wouldn't be hard to code - though one problem would be that if people put completely different random things in it... such as the plural as babies when their animal was a rodent.
