Non-Forum posters
It always lingered in my head-if you've been on NS for a long time (in my case a year and a few months now), why can't it just give you a rank depending on how long you've been here rather than the number of posts' you've made? I kinda never really have time for the forums because I'm always so busy, but I can still find time for the game. But when I do have time (rarely), I post.
There have to be other people like me out there who have the same problem.
Or, just add on another rank to the number of posts to make the other people happy.......

good idea, but wrong forum
Well the founding date is rank enough if you want to show off your age. The forum titles aren't really ranks anyway (if i get to 1000 posts I become a pimp  ) ,but I think that the rank should stay as a representation of post count, since those nations who don't post won't be on the forums much to appreciate their title anyway. Plus its impossible to implement your suggestion.
One thing I miss about being a small-time operation like we used to be-the chance that your opinion could be heard. Now we've been incorperated into a more vast web of things.......
Would require a recoding of the forum, and given that it's just moved to an integrated host, the chances of that happening are minimal.
Also, whilst the forums store join dates, actual nation creation dates weren't stored until a while ago. There are also issues regarding nations that are deleted and recreated (esp for inactivity) in that the date the forums have often reflects the date of resurrection, not the initial nation founding date.
