Avatars?

Just curious, but are we not allowed to have avatars anymore? I went to my control panel, and the only option I was permitted was "Do Not use Avatar".
Anybody know anything about this?

We never where allowed to use avatars......
Anyways if you want an avatar u need to be a moderator, or make 10,000 posts

I've been reading the Jolt forums a bit and apparently the 10,000 post avatar reward is no longer available. I believe that there is something called a Jolt premium account (costing £10) which enables you to have an avatar and custom title. The service probably isn't available to Nationstates players.

And I wouldn't pay nearly $20 a month just to have an 80x80 picture under my name.

definately. I agree. having a pic next to my name for £10 per month? Not worth it. Got better things to spend my money on, like my stamp collection! ;)
To clarify...
10k posts and you get an avatar....due to upgrades in the forum software this may not be as instant as it was in the past, but since there aren't that many people with 10k+ posts it's not a priority for us atm
Premium forum accounts.
The £10.00 is an annual fee not monthly and it also removes the ads from the forums.
