Browser issue

The NS site and the Jolt forums seem to work fine with my PC using Internet Explorer 5, but the link to redirect from NS to Jolt fails using Internet Explorer SP1 on my laptop. I can use Jolt NS forum using IE6 SP1 if I open it via the Jolt links. Anyone else having this issue?

The issue is known by the moderators.

The forum login script is broken not the forums.

Thanks. That is still a vague technical term for "it works sometimes ...".

I'm on Mozilla Firefox and can use NationStates fine as well as the Jolt forums, but the "Forums" link from the NationStates loads a blank page for me, although the URL box shows "http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/etcetcetc and if I remove the etcetcetc, (not what is actually displayed, but just so you get the point) and hit enter again, it will take me to the Jolt forums just find and I scroll down and go to NS, etc. I'm wondering if this is the problem you were talking about in your post. If not, it is a new problem for the moderators to know about.

I'm using Mozilla 1.7.1 and everything on NS and the Jolt-run forums works fine for this version.

I am having the exact same problem.

ALSO, it appears that the forum password wasn't changed when I changed my NS pass.

That was my problem which I forgot to detail.

My redirects from NS page to the forums no longer work. They did when the forums first came up, but have since stopped redirected about 2 days ago. I'm using whatever latest updated IE that comes with WinXP.

Neither the Jolt forums nor NationStates are broken. The redirect link from NationStates to Jolt was broken. I don't think it is anymore, but I could be wrong. It isn't a Firefox or IE issue, or any other browser.

All redirects (including the latest threads) are broken for me - Firefox 0.8.

Yeah, we're trying to track this one down. I've found that it's highly sporadic. It'll be fixed as soon as we actually know what's wrong.

Or for me? :)

I'm using Firefox 0.9 and have the same problem with the redirections.

Netscape will only let me log on with my main nation. I have to use IE to log on with my puppets.

Also, the NS connection with the Jolt forum don't work too good with netscape.
