I think more standard prefixes could only benefit the creativity people have in coming up with custom names later. If before the custom mark of 500 million there was a second tier of standard names, available at for example 150 Million, that would be added to the drop-down list of fixed names. This would greatly add to the depth and uniqueness of the game, it would also press users above 500 million to think of more realisticly appealing and interesting names if they would have to compete with a series of more politically tangible & thorough names than the simple ones we begin with.
Here is a list I've come up with, those above 500 million are free to use these or inspirations from these, but I put them here meaning to sway the moderators into putting a hopeful suggestion to the admin that some of these or derivations of these might form a second select batch of national government names for use by everybody not quite yet to 500 million:
the 'Congressional Union' of
the 'Independent State' of
the 'Sovereign Council' of
the 'Royal Vassalage' of
the 'Joint Directorial Syndicate' of
the 'Autonomous Workers Guild' of
the 'Associated League' of
the 'Parliamentary Democracy' of
the 'Unfettered Consociation' of
the 'Interim Transitional Polity' of
the 'Directly Delegated Ministry' of
the 'Functional Caucus' of
the 'Corporate Property' of
the 'Fundamentalist States' of
the 'Loose Assembly' of
the 'Power Hungry Lobby' of
the 'Nationally Designated Board' of
the 'Open Country' of
the 'Culturally Connected Areas' of
the 'Ancient Trade Route' of
the 'Geo-politically Bonded Land' of
the 'Privileged Self-Ruling Panel' of
the 'Hand-Selected Initiates' of
the 'Acting Government Chamber' of
the 'Occasionally Held Conclave' of
the 'Communal Living Space' of
the 'Displaced Peoples' of
the 'Senate Committee' of
the 'Authority Invested Cabinet' of
the 'Synodal Groupings' of
the 'Tribal Moot' of
the 'Much Loved Citizenry' of
the 'Civil Waring Factions' of
the 'Foreign Imposed Coalition' of
the 'Sprawling Imperial Conquests' of
the 'Commanding National Agency' of
the 'Militaristic Regime' of
the 'Power Consolidation' of
the 'Presiding Jurisdiction' of

I have two nations over 500 million! And to clerify alot of people. It is NOT against the TOS (Terms of Service) to have more than one nation/account. It is ONLY illegal to have MORE than one UN account.

you can have these once you get over 500 million.
I believe I covered that in my post above. My point was only one can be had by one at a time and they aren't simply on hand for everybody, not every player visits this board or even changes after their mark is met. There would be quite a lot more use of them among those who've stayed serious to their nation long enough to get it to one hundred million or such, and it would also help level out the non-governmental type names used in facetiousness which are so prevalent.

The idea behind 500 million was that after you're around 3 months, you won't go doing something inappropriate in your pre-title; that's why the line is where it is.
You don't have to go on the forums regularly to know about that; it's in the FAQ as well.
Some of us really like our "non-governmental type names"; besides, I don't see every thing on your list being a realistic title.

"Jingoistic States" isn't a realistic title per se either, but realistic as more governmentally viable than say "the hairy eardrum of." I'm not trying to put my list across as definitive for what needs to fill out a potential list, I am only hoping for a maieutic nudge in a direction that resonates as such. If such a thing happened it could only be constructive. I'm not asking to tell people what to put once they reach the 500 million mark, I'm saying, just as in the rules that a flag should be flaglike (which is a rule broken all the time) it would be healthy for the game to give some inspiration beyond the simple first 37. Give an impetus to make prolix titles as actual government types by a second group of them to prepare one for a name that helps give beadth to the nationstates community for the criteria of what it simulates. As if you say, a time period of three months was meant to quit jokers from putting something 'inappropriate' in their pre-title, it certainly hasn't worked in that way. The attempt of giving direct composite names to look into for a better arrangement however may actually help add a social context to their nation. This is what I mean by saying not many take the time to view the forums & such.
