Question relating to new forum options

First off, big thanks to Sal and all the rest on their work with the new forums.

With each post, their seem to be an option to report it for undetermined violations. Do these reports go to the moderator team of NS or to the moderators/administration of Jolt? Should NS posters use them or should they continue to post issues here in moderation?

Do new players need to register with Jolt or does creating a nation through the nationstates.net page suffice?

Regarding the signatures option, does the ToS apply?

The final point is not so much a question but a suggestion. With the aforementioned sig ability as well as new image posting capacities. Perhaps a testing thread be created to prevent individuals from being warned for spam when they are trying out their new options.

Thank you for your time.

GEC

EDIT: First post in moderation, a small but sweet victory.

Signatures dont show up but your best bet is to keep it in the TOS. better safe than Deleted.

I would assume that the reports go to our people.

I would like ot know if the Jolt Mods have any power here.

For now, I'd stick with our old method. The reporting sends an e-mail to all "Super Moderators", of which the NS Mods are. However, it would be sending to other Jolt Mods. I think we still need to work it out.

I think it's a little of both. You do need to create a nation to post on our forums. However, I believe you also will need to do that e-mail verification jazz too.

Why on earth wouldn't it? TOS applies to everything.

What's wrong with Preview Post?

Hmm, I guess this means only one puppet on here per email address? I tried to get some puppets on here last night and ran into problems with the email verification, and the Jolt registration thingy.

Guess that will stop people from cheating on polls with puppets, but when you want to legitimately add to discussions (in Gameplay or something) with a different puppet, it's a bit of a problem.

I'd just use different e-mail addresses for role-playing purposes, of course, I'm sure those who want to cheat will find a way around everything.

Supposedly we're allowed to have multiple nations with the same e-mail address, but I haven't really tested it out. However, if one of you people with 3.4 million puppets wants to give it a whirl...

I have tried it out. My puppet Gothic Kitty, and Carinthe have the same e-mail adress, and I can log in easily with both

If you still can't get it working, fire off a telegram to me and I can fix it so your puppet can post. I think.

In response to the "spam" testing forum, I think a good title would be "Forum 7".
