How do you get a big nation faster?

Just wondering really, some nations seem to start of bigger.

Population is all randomized, sorry.

Everyone starts out at 5 million people, and then it grows from there. There's nothing you can do to change it.

A fairly accurate approximation is, you get 500m after 3 months, 1bn after 6 months, 2bn after a year. There are slight variations in growth, but unless you contract the population bug, the timing will only vary by no more than a couple of weeks in either direction.

it would be nice if in the nation discription it would tell you how long scince you started

Each time you post in the forums it says on the side what the date was that your started

Well, the population is a rough guide, and you only have to log into the forums to find out. I have more than 1.9bn people, so people in the game can tell I have been around for a year, and in the forums, people can see the exact date. It's not so important to see the exact creation date in the game.
