Can't log in on forum

I've been asked to post here by a the nation Philbert

His problem in a nutshell is that he cannot log into the forum. He says it is a long time (months) since he was last on the forum. Someone has suggested that the problem may be because he has changed his password since he created his nation, but he has no idea what the original password was.

He says that creating a puppet is his last resort. If you need any more information, please post here or Telegram Philbert.

Thanks for looking at this.

Your forum password is the original password of a nation at the time of creation. When your change your password via Settings, it only changes the nation's password, not the forum's password.

Since most of us are automatically logged into the NS forums, the password never needs to be changed here, for the most part.

I'd wait for a moderator to see this as to advise what you can do next. Good luck!

<--- not a mod.

Cheers for that Tuesday. I'm curious as to why he isn't automatically logged onto the forums like everyone else though.

His current password is now his forum password too. See if it works now.

Isn't this a bit of a security risk? If someone finds out you password, then even if you change it they can still log on to the forum as you

Yes, it is assuredly, but it's the way it is.

It has to do with the fact that profiles are disabled on this forum. I've heard that we'll be getting profiles back when we get to Jolt, so it may solve the problem.
