Another update question

Every day inactive nations cease to exist. Does that happens twice a day?
When the game update notices that there is no nation in the region, will that region cease to exist as well, or does it take another update to delete the region?
I have an update question too. How does the game determine who becomes the delegate in case of a tie?

The region will not cease to exsist until an update time. So you have plenty of time to still move back to that region.
I believe inactive nations do die-out at least twice a day.
I think if there is a tie between the UN delegate and the opposing nation trying to become delegate the UN Delegate would stay delegate, for they are already in power. :)
Thanks for the reply New Cyprus. I should have specified if there is no delegate who would win a tie.

I just want to know if it's the same update, or are there different updates for nations and regios?
Alphaks II, you should have started a new thread, instead of hijacking mine.
I didn't mean to hijack just trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Save space etc. Sorry to offend you.

Actually, posting update questions in this thread is a good idea, as it conserves server space. :D
My point exactly...nazis are hard headed sometimes.

It's the same update, comes twice a day, usually lasts from 2 to 3 hours.

The nation who has been in the region longest wins the tie. You can find out which one has been in the region longer by visiting http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/regiondata.cgi/region=XXXX (where XXXX is the name of your region; the nation list starts with the most senior nation and ends with the most recent arrival).
It's common courtesy to defer to thread starters, and I don't think it's that nice to call someone a Nazi based on a small request; but I'm no mod or enforcer of the rules around here and that's just my opinion.

That was all I wanted to know. The problem is that my region has been taken over by some anti-Nazis. That is not a big problem, but they are boring the natives to death, and want to refound the region. I don't think it's apropriate that a Nazi region (With a Nazi name)is ran by lefties.
Calling someone a nazi is no insult. I am proud of it 8)
Thanks for the help. At least now I have a fair chance to get my own Nazi region back.

That was the intention, last I heard. It is currently implemented in the exact opposite way.

Indeed, I noticed that in the Warzones for the first time.
