Add duration of residency counters to nations! Pronto!

As a rather formidable UN delegate in my region, it is hard for me to keep track of who is in or out of my region and who I can trust, as I never know how long they have been in the region. I would suggest, in aid of this, to add a counter onto every nation which states how long that nation has been residing in its current region.

You think you have a problem telling how long someone has been in your region, LOL

ever seen mine, or LR's, or FS's?

seriously, it could be a interesting thing, would keep counter invaders from lying about how long they have been there.

(I with a pupper booted a invader inone of my regions and he had the all to tell me he had been there for over a year, his population, 230 million)
(this was a while back too)

Would this be a total composite, of course. I, and other nations I'm sure, sometimes accidentally move to a new region. So it wouldn't reset then, would it? And this might take quite a bit of technical work for the admin. But I think it would be fairly cool to have! Especially in GNY, with as large as GNY is getting.

Well, except for very large regions, the order of arival at least is already displayed in the xml feed information (listed order = oldest inhaibitant first).

XML Feed: http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/regiondata.cgi/region=XXXX where XXXX = the name of the region you want to see the data for.

That is quite a useful tool!

Why not both a total composite and a 'since last move' counter? There's hardly any real statistical information on the nation pages anyway, so we could do with some more hard-facts. It would be also useful for the average shmoe as well as the UN delegate, as you have to be sure the nation you're endorsing has been around for a while in the region and isn't just passing through or even *gasp* an invader.
