Old Forum Posts
I have a request to make...
Do you think the mods could delete the old posts that no one uses anymore? There are 1000 pages or more in some categories, which seems a bit excessive...
An alternative to deleting would be to create a 'vault' for all the old and treasured topics that you can't delete :)
They do delete them every so often in purges of the database. Also there is a vault of posts not be deleted 'The Archive' have a look there are some very good thread.

Most threads over 65 pages are locked to prevent them from becoming spammed topics and to prevent the server from lagging. However, unless a thread violates the NS rules, it's usually left on the forums.

The 65-page rule is only true for General. In the other forums it is perfectly fine for there to be a thread over 65-pages.

Only General has that rule. The forums auto-purge posts older than 90 [60?] days.

Autopurge does not exist. When purges are done, however, it's 60 days.
