A couple of weeks ago my region was griefed and refounded by the Delegate.

Cogitation restored me to the Founder position within the region but I am unable to turn off regional controls to the Delegate.

I now have a new Delegate that has been known to grief regions in the past and would like to turn regional controls off for a period of time.

I am unable to do that.

Regional Control cannot be turned off when the founder isn't located IN the region itself. Once the founder leaves, it's automatically turned on again.

This is to prevent regions from getting locked out of regional controls alltogether (and a mod being needed to turn it back on again).

It isn't that way in any of my other regions. Maybe they have a glitch then...

I suggest you double-check. It's supposed to work like that for all regions, and probably does. When a founder isn't in a region, delegate access to region controls is turned on automatically.
