This game strikes me as being broken

I am a corporate bordello with a small, pro-business government. How on Earth can private enterprise be illegal?
A few days ago, I was regularly jailing environmental terrorists, yet the next sentence would say that crime is a problem because I have no prisons.
Is this game broken, or is this just nuance that only John Kerry could understand?

It reflects real politics
Actually though, if you answer issues in a way that completley contrast with your orignial situation, it can create some conflicts, it's not really broken, it's just the way the game works, I don't know, but I imagine when NS2 comes out this won't happen.
Thats what I think anyways.

Get a load of this chestnut. My first paragraph begins:
"The Holy Republic of Tanizaki is a small, socially progressive nation, renowned for its strong anti-business politics."
The second paragraph begins:
"The small, pro-business government..."
Hahahah thats pretty funny, I always just imagine that the newer statments toward the bottom reflect the new choices
That's happened because one of the issues you've answered in the past was a very anti-business one - but after that, business became more of a government priority. These things happen. *shrugs*
That as well as the questions you answered at the beginning of your nation, I think the Capitalism on the way out? one causes you to have strong anti business politics if you agree with it.

Which anti-business issue was that? I was amazed when I first started my nation and it was a Civil Rights Lovefest with no prisons and a 25% income tax.
It's rather sloppy coding, emoted shrugs aside. NS is free so I suppose I cannot grouse too much, but I have a feeling that "these things happen" and shrugs will not placate paying customers of NS2.
