No age limit I know of. Nations were deleted for rule infractions.

Your question makes no sense. Nations are deleted for rule breaking and auto-deleted after 28 days of inactivity.

Or 60 days if Vacation Mode is on.

Nations get deleted by being abandoned for 28 days or 60 like Enn says or of course rule infractions. YOur question still dosnt make sense though

I think you mean that they died from inactivity, as was mentioned, I think it's mentioned in the faq as well

There's no age limits here.

Old-timers sometimes think they're above the law.

I think the oldest still living nation is Thomasia. That's not the largest in population though, that's Josifovich (4.247 billion) last time I looked.

Really? I could have sworn to god that Thomasia was the oldest active nation. Where's that link....

Hmm, actually, this says that "Blau" was founded the earliest, on November 12, 2002, 3 days before Thomasia.

I believe Blau has died off.

The reason Last Hope isn't listed on the memberlist as oldest is because he was accidentally deleted.

The reason Last Hope isn't listed on the memberlist as oldest is because he was accidentally deleted.

Ahhhhh.....

Well that would explain that.

Thomasia is the oldest continuous nation that is still active. How come nations like Blau and Swizzlestick still show up on that list even though they no longer exist?

Removal of members from the memberlist can probably only be done by hand. All it takes is someone, without a life, who wants to check all 6100+ pages for nations that aren't there anymore. Piece of cake, right? And you'll never know if they want to come back, so you have to check the reason of their deletion also :P
