Suggestion: Ranking Regions

I think it would be interesting to rank regions (in addition to nations as is currently done) on the daily topics.

For example:
Happiest Citizens 46th in region and 38,542nd in world
Rudest Citizens 45th in region and 83,721st in world

So on average, my region has probably has happier citizens than most, and ruder citizens than most.

It would be easy to calculate the ranking:
For each region calculate the average of the world rankings of its member nations
Sort the regions by this average number
The region with the smallest average is 1st in the world; the next is 2nd etc.

It's been suggested before...but nothing will really be added until we get to Jolt servers.

You do of course realize that the pacifics would probably dominate these

Well, if it was an average like he proposed then they'd more likely be right in the middle every time since they have such a wide variety of players.

But if a small region (I person) had really happy citizens then they would be at the top making it unfair to bigger regions... maybe some new ways of classifications may come with a new server though.

That's true. They could make it so that you couldn't start a new region unless two other people agreed to join it...perhaps something like a petition.
