I'm a little confused. I'm not exactly sure how/if the phpbb search works.
It only gives me one query box titled:
"Search for Author:
Use * as a wildcard for partial matches"
That gives me the impression that I should be searching for posts based on the author's user ID. I don't really care who wrote the post, I'm searching for content.
Searching for an author (I've tried a few) just seems to reload the search page, with no changes.
Searching for a topic ("mods", "industry", "nudity") yields a 'no results' page that says:
"No topics or posts met your search criteria"
Even though (as it would seem) I'm not searching for topics or posts but for authors.
I really don't understand.
Further, this wouldn't be so bad if nationstates.net/robots.txt didn't say anything about the forum so that I could just search the forum using google. But I can't.
Please explain to me if I'm doing something wrong. But I've tried my best to find a solution before asking.
