How long will I have to wait after failing to pick the correct password to move to a new region?

I had the wrong one at first and while chatting with a friend had that corrected, but she used the wrong case and I failed (for too many attempts) before I could put the last one in.

I didnt think there was a limit for regional passwords, but judging by the one imposed for nations' passwords Id say 45 minutes
