I apologise for how pernickety this is, however it has vaguely troubled me since April last year.
In the humours descriptions of our nations would it be possible to replace the “--” with an em dash (mdash;*). It is a small thing, but I am somewhat of a typography whore and I at least would appreciate it. Curly quotes (ldquo;* and rdquo;*) around the national mottos would also be nice but depending on how the coding is done could be problematic.

They aren't going to change this especially for just one person's request.
Even though technically these aren't actual typos, there is a sticky in the "Got Issues?" forum for reporting typos in the issues and that's probably the best place to ask about getting this changed.

Well Collaboration, at this rate of growth it won't take long before everyone has endorsed this idea. Unless it's just one additional person per day rather then a 100% increase.

Ok, I'm no typography expert, but you are right on the mdash. However, vertical quotation marks are acceptable. Depending on how tough it is (and how bored I am), I may get around to fixing it.
