It is my understanding that the forums will be switched to vBulletin when the server moves to Jolt. Although I prefer phpBB to vBulletin, I've made my peace with the change and was looking around the vBulletin Community Forum (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/index.php) to get a feel for the new software.

Then I noticed something. Unlike in phpBB (or Invision for that matter), the founding dates in the corner of the page read "Join Date: Jun 2000". No day of the month, just the month and year. I checked the Jolt public forums (http://forums.jolt.co.uk) (which are incidentally an out-of-date version of vBulletin) and noticed a similar phenomenon ("Registered: Jan 2002").

Will the founding dates of our nations in the NS forums suffer the same fate? :(

You know, a month or so isn't really very long at all. My first nation died due to the ban on paradise.net.nz, and will have lost about sixteen months as a result.

This nation is actually my third one - I can't log in as any of the others on the forum (using the forum login didn't work). My first nation used to be 04 Jan 03, but now it'll be April 04.

Better 24 hours up-time on V-Bulletin, than 4 hours of up-time on phpBB.
