Regions with no founder line...

What does it mean when a region has no founder line? I know in the case of the Pacifics they were starting regions, but what about other regions? I've come across a couple, and they seemed kind of random to me.

That would mean they were created before foundership was implemented.

With feeder regions, the admin made the region so no one has control over the feeder regions. Some regions just have their founder die.

So then, it's still possible for them to be deleted if there's no nations there?

So, would it be possible to have a mod appoint a nation as founder if one does not exist currently?

Only under special circumstances, eg. a griefing.

yeah, occasionally people request to be made founders and the mods look at it as a special case, if it is needed, the founder title will be granted. But becoming a founder is very very rare. I've seen it once since I've been here.

Correct.

Moderators only appoint Founders under exceptional circumstances. The time to request Founders for Foudnerless regions was back when the feature was still new (say, around April or May 2003).
