And also, my legisaltion from yesterday is still pending. Is this just me or is the problem with everybody?

Sorry - I just went to "How To Report A Bug" and found my answer

I still don't know my problem. My issue didn't get pending, i have no new issues, and my population didn't budge. what's the deal?

I went there and I didn't find the answer to that question. What's the answer?

Actually.... this is not your standard game-is-skiping-your-nation problem in that page... I didn't get issues or population today either... and nor did a few of my puppets (although some did)... AND the UN ranking is EXACTLY the same (not even a slight change, from what I've recorded from yesterday).

*pouts at Sal and begs for issues*

You're supposed to temporarily move your country over to some other region, then move it back to the original one. This apparently "unsticks" your Issues Updates. I tried it though and so far the problem remains. I'll give it till tomorrow though.

Hmm, if this continue another 24 hours, I will tackle it.

Did that, nothing happened. :(

It looks like my entire entire region of Socialist Paradise didn't get any issues... but I had some of my different nations get them.

I think something's wrong with the UN portion of the NS program. None of the UN rankings changed since yesterday and most of my puppets haven't had their issues processed.

Is this by any chance similar to the bug of 26 October 2003? *prays*

This wouldn't, by chance, be the one that stripped FS from power? I don't recall dates on things, but it looks right. Honestly, I can't tell you what the cause is without access to the logs, and I don't have that. [violet] knows that something funky is up.

Yeah, `twas.

I just looked through the Tech forum archives and came across this thread (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85337) - dated 25 October 2003 - which discusses a very similar issue.

What happened on 26 October 2003?

It seems like it was serious. I'm kind of curious...

http://www.nationstates.net/news/2003/10/26/index.html#no_delegates

Long story short - Francos Spain, controversial delegate of the Pacific, lost delegacy and there was a pitched battle to gather more endorsements than he had before the server update that night. Neut came and put a stop to it, and [violet] announced that any further glitches would be allowed to be exploited.

That could be hell now, since there are even more region crashers around. NS would go into chaos! *starts running away* AAAAAA!!

Anyhow, Sal/[violet] - can anyone confirm that this may be the same problem as before?

Same fundemental cause, but there should not be any problems with the UN. That was several issues compounding each other. This actual problem with the daily update has happened almost a half-dozen times since the FS incident and it's been fixed each time. A permenant fix will be coded at some point.

Update: just got a new issue in Goobergunchia [Democratic Underground].

And of course it's issue #32, my personal least favorite.
