We Need Repeals, And Here Is Why

11-04-2004, 05:59
Not sure if this would be the right forum for it, but let me know if it isn't. I, like so many others, want the right to repeal and make amendments to resolutions. Past, present, and future. I personally understand the problem with this idea, but I like to think that I have been arguing for repeals rather well, and give my solution to the problem. Please read: 'A Declaration to the Peoples and Nations of the World', 'We Should Have Repeals, but I Understand the Problem', and 'Improved Rights of Nations'. All of these argue for repeals, give resoning to it, and overall try to bring some sense to what it is we are asking for. I would appreciate any questions, comments, criticisms, ideas, or whatever that you may have. Please, give me the same respect that I have given to the moderators, and that I will give to you, by at least reading these ideas and not dismiss this as it can't be done. I know all three of the threads are long, but are worth reading. They can be found, mainly, within the United Nations forum.

Could you please link to the threads?

I'm also in favor of the ability to repeal and /or ammend resolutions. I understand it takes quite some coding, so I'm not holding my breath in anticipation.

The rules aren't going to change anytime soon.

The repeal/amend process would only cause further complications, perhaps, if the resolutions passed were better defined and of better material worth, this wouldn't come up so often.
