Issues repeating themselves ...

06-04-2004, 11:16
I have my account set up so that I receive issues twice daily and am not in vacation mode and am receiving two issues everyday. However when I receive issues I have already addressed them in the past ... is this a bug? is there anything I can do to get new issues? or are there only a certain number of issues and I have addressed them all so have to play the same ones again?

Many thanks for any help or suggestions

Issues are sent out pretty much at random. The system does not keep track of which issues you have previously received. There are a limited number of issues, and many only work for specific nation types (ie non-dictatorships won't recieve the "People request not so much dictatorship" one).

There are... uh... ~100 issues by now, I think.

So, yes, they repeat themselves, automatically.

While the number of issues grows (player submitted ones are added), their number *is* still limited.

However, by adressing issues you already addressed in the past, you *do* boost your UN-, as well as national rankings (Or rather, change them, since you can also kill them off). Or you can choose another option, should the results of the option you choosed the first time the issue showed up be... unpleasent.

didn't new nations only get the first 30 game-created issues, and later on the player-created?

Something like that. But you can still get the original 30 later on.

yeah, just not so often, luckily..

<----- only makes issues on her UN nation to catch the update time
