No, definitely not. This is illegal. If you break the rules anyway, the mods will detect it and eject/delete both your nations.

How about two different accounts - two different servers, two different locations and two different computers - one at home, one at work ? Why can't there be a UN member for each of them - they are very different and can't possibly be on line at the same time?

Each player is permitted only one UN nation regardless of whether or not they can be online at the same time. You could be deleted or only ejected from the UN, but it is very much against the rules to have two UN nations regardless of circumstances.

I understand what you are saying but it doesn't really answer my concern in that to all intents and purposes it would be two different players.

Though it may be harder to detect, it's still against the rules. You are still one player with two UN accounts.

(why have so many people asked about this recently? :P)

Cathures: I'm just telling you that it's against the rules.

If you want advice on cheating without being detected you're not getting it from me, and anyone who has the balls to advise you in public on this board has me impressed.

If you were involved in an invasion you'll almosty certainly be spotted. I've caught out multi's before who passed the IP scan. Remember as experienced players we have to be able to spot multis before we can ask a Mod to confirm it.

I think it's because many new people enjoy the game and want to take it with them - work or home. I think also because many companies have a policy that will allow employees to use the computers if the work required is completed and provided it's not illegal, they don't seem to mind. It's a question that has been asked of me and I really don't see it as cheating, but it is a grey area and probably one never considered.

But whatever, let it be a dead issue/ And no don't take part in invasions and I generally don't post - as you can see - but I thought since I was asked I would ask the question. So let's just make it asked and answered and I'll go back to my little corner of the world and leave you to play your game in peace.

Kindest regards

…it is a grey area and probably one never considered.

I promise you it is not a grey area. It is not allowed, it is cheating.

I have more than one nation. Can they all join the UN?

No. You may only have one nation in the UN at any given time. To enforce this, UN member nations must supply an e-mail address.

What if I sneak them in using other e-mail addresses?

First up, don't. This is against the rules, and other people will be annoyed with you when they find out. It's a low, underhand thing to do. And the chances of getting caught are pretty high: the game uses four different methods to detect cheaters.

Nations that rort the UN in this way will be expelled and prevented from re-joining. If you do it with multiple nations, they'll all be deleted, including your main nation. If you're especially annoying, you'll be banned from making any new nations, too. But don't make me do that.

This is hardly a "gray area". Do not do it. You will be deleted.

It's been asked before you, and you've brought up a dead issue. Obviously, if people are going to cheat, nobody can truly play this game in peace, because it ruins it for the rest of us.
