I was frettin to high hell! Although there is the chance that its not! Cross our fingers and wait until tomorrow, other wise i feel like lots of people will be creatin puppets to get max pop!

Why do all you guys have things other than "powerbroker" under your names?

Not to ruin the fun of speculation, but it seems a pretty easy change to make. They wouldn't have actually changed every nation's population - they just changed the template for the description. Instead of a population variable that gives your nation's actual population in the description, they just made it a static part of the text - "5 million." I mean, they just put an unchanging sentence in the standard description template that says each nation's population is 5 million. To fix it, they just need to change the template back.

I can tell my nations still have their actual populations because my 500+ million nations still have variable titles in the settings, while my smaller nations still have the drop-downs.

They wouldn't have actually changed every nation's population - they just changed the template for the description.Indeed. Check out the nationdata (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/nationdata.cgi). I still have 2847 million population.
