Why has population been decimated from 320 million to 5 million?????
I need help here!!!!!!!!!!

The population bug has finally been fixed. Unfortunately, to ensure a level playing field, everybody's been reset to 5 million. It's in the latest news post.

I think the mods are enjoying April 1st a little too much.
I just hope our populations get restored to normal tomorrow.
All other settings look like they have remained unaffected - and since your positon in a world listing (like nicest citizens etc) depends pretty much on the size of your population, and indeed the only way I know of to increase your population is to agree on decisions and not to dismiss them, then this population bug thing sounds too suspicious to "suddenly appear on April 1st"!!!!!

Good news! A long-running bug that allowed some nations to grow much faster than they deserved has now been fixed. This means nations can no longer benefit from abusing the so-called "population bug."
Because it's impossible to tell who exploited the population bug and who didn't, all nation's populations have been reset to 5 million. This way we can ensure a level playing field."
