I suggest that this forum needs more sections since people are getting mixed up when RPing with Space Tech,Modern and Fantasy nations. people tend to roleplay with each other until they discover they are playing with a nation that uses tech far superior or inferior to their own. I suggest to stop this we should have separate RPing sections so we can get the modern,space and fantasy nations playing with their own tech categories. Please take part in the poll. Im sure this will help everyone!

I agree, it gets annoying because Space Fantasy and Modern Role Plays gets mixed together because they are unsure or people stumble into the wrong RP, you it was split into 3 Different sections it would make things a lot easier for the Role Players so we don't get RP's confused with different types of RPs.

And cause more confusion for most players who tend to play with people regardless of their timeline.

Um, what if you're near-future and don't have space assets? Or steamtech? Or even past-tech? How many extra forums would we need for this to have a hope of succeeding, and even if it did, what would it accomplish that tagging threads 'Modern tech only' or 'Spacetech RP' wouldn't? Or discussing things with people via telegram beforehand wouldn't?

News for you: Non- war RP can be done regardless of your Tech level.

And yes, there are actual threads that have nothing to do with War in NS... No, you didn´t participate in them, but they are there.

Oh, and a *gasp* telegram to organise stuff might help sorting out such troubles.

This idea has been suggested before. The answer has always been no.

And besides, even in real life, not all tech levels are the same.

More sections probably means a slower forum with more posts to hold so I completely disagree.

Could the forum be much worse than it already is?

I can understand RPing in a sence that you can make trade but im saying for war we should have separate sections. Thats it.

Um, which places war as being more important than anything else on forum by giving it multiple seperate forums while trade, international relations, charcter RP and so on have one forum. Three forums for war and one for everything else places a ridiculous [and unrealistic] emphasis on war RP over anything else.

Put simply, if you sort out your RPs with telegrams beforehand, tech differences never even become an issue. This saves having three extra forums and making people who don't do war RPs feel short changed.
