"World Benchmark"?

Recently I atained the rating of "World benchmark" in civil rights. It set me wondering what is the standard for being a world benchmark. Is there a set number of world benchmarks at any given time? If so, how many? If not, how does it work? Please respond if you have any knowledge in this matter.

World benchmark is just one of the higher up rankings for civil rights (and political freedoms IIRC). It means that you have very high civil freedoms, although only the admins and Sal (not mods, admins, [violet] is the only really active admin) know what the actual code that computes your CRs is (and what kind of requirements go into it). For a list of rankings, look for the rankings thread by "Jesusness" (now an ex-Nation) in the archive.

A puppet of mine was born with a 'world benchmark' rating. I stupidly altered that with my first issue.

My nation has 2 world benchmarks right now, and I started with both of them

Not braggy. Just stating the facts. Actually you're doing great for a relatively new nation.

Excessive isn't the highest. "Widely Abused" is, followed by "Frightening" and then "Excessive".

OOC: This topic has sparked my curiosity...

Are the ratings the same for each area?

The highest economy rating I have heard of is Frightening (needed sp). Does this World Benchmark apply to all three categories?
