I wasn't aware of the spelling differences.

Is the American spelling used in Austrailia? As I would assume Max, would use that which is native to him.

And Got Issues? I rember that was just for issues for the game, I appologise, been a while since I was really active around here.

Australia (only the one 'i' :P ) uses British spelling, but I think the theory was to make everything seem to be correct for Americans. Certainly there've been a few Australian-isms and British-isms changed because the Americans didn't know what they meant, so spelling might be in that category.

I just looove the use of the empirical system in the issues. Feet, gallons, pounds! The use of congress rather than parliament is fantastic and baseball is the best game on earth. But I’m just a farmer. I don’t know about your tomato souce and smarty metre mumbo-jumbo. :twisted: But seriously, what are some of the things that the Americans struggle to understand?

The word "whinging" appeared in an issue once and generated a lot of queries. There've been a few other little things like that - to say nothing of the reactions I get sometimes for using phrases like "utterly gobsmacked" and "to put a rocket up someone's rear end".
