Regional Flags Anyone?

Would it be very difficult to edit the code to allow for the uploading of regional flags? You could put the flag next to the title of the region same 107X71 size...all the editing, of course, could be done via the regional control page. I think it would be a fun addition to the game since alot of us have ideas for our regions having their own flag designs.

Well, they did at least update the regional page with pretty new font...*chuckle* I suppose it was their way of saying, we love you all...but not THAT much. But seriously, I like the new look. *whispering* Now if you could go back in there and add a place for flags...heh heh heh. OK that's my last plug, I don't want to be b*tchslapped and then banned.

Regional flags is a nono unless you want regions with goatse everywhere.
It was possible a while ago to put HTML code into the World Factbook entry upon the creation of a region.
I alerted Sal to this and it was promptly disabled because it represented a security risk.
We may be allowed bbcod in factbooks at some point, such as URL linking. I think it's on Sal's (mile-long) to-do list.

Actually, I will unofficially say that I have already done most of the leg work for bold, underline, italic, and newlines in Factbook entries. Size and Color may follow. Both URL and IMG are rather unlikely due to both the fact that they reference items out of our control, and they are much more difficult to do securly. This does not mean that it is impossible however.
Lists will almost definitely not be supported.
Is URL linking that much of a potential source for abuse?
A lot of regions already have URLs in their factbooks, so it's just a matter of saving people time. Provided that alternate URL text isn't permitted, I don't think there's much more room for abuse than there is now.
