Sometimes your nation gets stuck: in a particular form of government, at a really high tax rate, with really bad (or indeed good) economy, or whatever.
So. How about a "Revolution" mode?
The way it would work is: You check a box on your settings page, à la Vacation, and your nation resets to Anarchy, Excessive political freedoms & civil rights, and a moderate tax rate and economy. Any outstanding issues are dismissed. RPing the establishment of a new government is up to you.
Some further ideas & questions:
- Should there be a limit how frequently Revolution could be used?
- If you have a Revolution, stop issues or population growth for a few days?
- Should there be a special Issue delivered at the end of your Revolution to set up the new government?
- What should happen to tax rates?
