I think this would be a good idea.

<ResolutionName>
<Description>

<VotesAgainst>
<VotingEnds>
<LastResolutionname>
<PassedorDefeated>
<Votes>

Any thoughts?

I like this idea, here's a proposed example:

http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/undata.cgi?res=1

<RESOLUTIONINFO>
<NAME>Fight the Axis of Evil</NAME>
<CATEGORY>International Security</CATEGORY>
<STRENGTH>Strong</STRENGTH>
<AUTHOR>Maxtopia</AUTHOR>
<DESCRIPTION>As the world becomes a more dangerous place, UN member nations must act swiftly in the interests of peace. This means, of course, building lots of new weapons. Only by massively increasing military budgets world-wide will we be able to restore peace and global security.</DESCRIPTION>
<FOR>2</FOR>
<AGAINST>1</AGAINST>
<CLOSED>12Nov2002</CLOSED> // This would probably be a date script similar to the LASTLOGIN field in the NationData XML Feed.
<ACTION>Adopted</ACTION> // or Rejected, depending
</RESOLUTIONINFO>

Goober, do we have the data for failed resolutions?

I lke the idea too, although I think that it would help to have it work both bt numbers and by nams (ie: "http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/undata.cgi?res=Fight%20the%20Axis%20of%20Evil") Also one for proposals which would look like the one for resolutions, except with a few diffreces like approvals instead of FOR and AGAINST, and one for the UN itself which might look like:

<MEMBERS></MEMBERS>
<DELEGATE></DELEGATES>
<PENDING></PENDING>*
<PROPOSALS></PROPOSALS>
<CURRENTRES></CURRENTRES>
<CATEGORY></CATEGORY>
<STREGTH></STRENGTH>
<PROPOSED></PROPOSED>
<VOTESFOR></VOTESFOR>
<VOTESAGAINST></VOTESAGAINST>
<LASTRES></LASTRES>
<PASSFAIL></PASSFAIL>
<LASTFOR></LASTFOR>

<AVDELVOTE></AVDELVOTE>*
<MEDDELVOT></MEDDELVOTE>*
<MODDELVOT></MODDELVOTE>*
<LISTPROPOSALS></LISTPROPOSALS>*
<UNHAPPENINGS></UNHAPPENINGS>

*denotes field not readily availible to us at the moment.

Might look like:
