For some reason my husbands password has not been working. He was going to have it resent to make sure He has it correct or to change it, but he recently changed his e-mail address and no longerhas access to the old one. Is there any way to get back into his nation?

Does he still have his orginial pw? Forum accounts are based on the password someone signs up with - if you can get him to login to the forums and post thats a way of proving his identity to the mods to try and solve this.

I hate it when the forums dont recognise posts.

Well, you checked Capslock, right? (hey, you never know...)

Also, is there any chance someone could have guessed it, or gotten access via autologin? If so, then it''ll still work on the forums but not on the site (like LE said). To log in directly to the forums, just try to post something when you are not logged in and it'll ask you for your user/pass (after that you can go back and remained logged in).

I was able to log on with my husbands account. So, this shows i is his account. We just need to be able to access his nation. Thanks.

The post before this is my husbands nation. I was just hoping there is something that can be done to fix it. Thanks. :D

I tried it with caps on and off and it still didn't work. It was originally done in all lowercase and that isn't even working.

Did you check all spelling?

Yes, I spelled it the exact same way I spelled it to get on the forum. It works on the forum, but we can not access the nation info.

I hate when I lose my password. Although it is pretty simple. A set of numbers or so.

The only thing worse then having a simple password is giving people hints about it :P
(although I suppos even a password like that could have a good 10000 possibilities ... )

Besides, this looks like something other then a forgotten password since it still works on the forums. That means it's been changed somehow since the nation was created.

Is there any way to figure out what happened? I don't know how anyone could have changed the password. If they did, is there anyway to reset it so we can get in and then create a new password?

Well, [violet], the game admin, has the ability to set passwords manually, but other then that there is no way to change it without knowing the password. They were on recently, since they posted the new Mod Olympic sticky in the Moderation forum, so maybe they'll see the topic and leave a comment.

It's kinda odd that a mod hasn't commented on this yet, though...

I will look at this later. I've been on a sporadic vacation.

Should I just give up on this?

Actually, don't worry about it. He decided just to start a new nation. It seems like it will be a problem to fix, so he just decided to move on. Thanks for the help though. :D
