AN Improvement on the Issue System

23-02-2004, 16:33
I propose that any issues that your nation passes, have the ability of being revoked. a couple times, after the effects of an issue took affect and the consequences where shown, i realized how very crappy it was and i wanted to revoke it.

To me, it sounds like a good idea. Post ideas, additions, and comments here.

But be nice : )

I like the idea because governments can revoke legislation. However, I don't think the mods are making any large changes anytime soon.

EDIT: As Frisbeeteria said in the post below, all legislative choices have residual effects.

I rather like the law of unintended consequences. Real nations don't come with an 'undo' button, so why should these? Even something like prohibition in the US, passed and then repealed, had far-reaching consequences in terms of criminal activity and federalist dictation that lasted long past the actual repeal.

You pays your money, you takes your chances. At least here no actual people die as a result of your foolishness.
