contradictions

this may be in the wrong forum, but i thought this might be a problem worth looking into...

this was in the description of my nation:

"citizens are permitted to carry concealed handguns, and the nation is completely gun-free."

first i voted to give permission to give guns, then the next issue, i banned guns. shouldn't the first phrase be deleted?

The set up is like that.

If you chose Option 1 for Issue X, then Option 1 for Issue Y, then Option 2 for Issue X again (contradicting your first choice), your nation description should read

"(Option 1, Issue X), (Option 1, Issue Y) and (Option 2, Issue X)"

Answering more issues will bump Option 1 for Issue X off and so on.

Simply put: that part of your nation's description reflects the last four decisions you made. If you make contradictory decisions, the text will end up contradictory too.
