Question about ressurection.

I just got Albatross ressurected. Thank you.

The date of my creation is now today. I was hoping to find out when I started and none of my posts made it to the archive.

I got a telegram to my other nation notifying me of the ressurection. Again, thank you. I found it in Lazarus, which was expected, but I found that it was created in Oceana and moved to Lazarus. I don't recall, but it is possible that Albatross was in Oceana at one point.

Lazarus is just a holding region for ressurected nations, and not the actual ressurection point? I guess I don't understand the point of Lazarus.

I was also hoping for a nation with a cool early date. :D

This is, of course, as I understand it, but:

1) Untill rather recently (possibly a month or two, not sure of the exact time), nation creation sates were not stored with the nation. Only the forum account had a creation date (which, of course, was the same as the nation it went with). As of now, they only store the dates that are recorded in NS as a variable, they aren't printed out anywhere. So, there is no way to find out your original creation date or proove it (except by the size of your population, 1 month = ~ 200Million, + time spent decesed). The forum accounts are thoroughly deleted at the death of the nation so that date can't be used either (it no longer exists).

2) When a nation is ressurected, three things happen: the marker that determines a nation's alive-ness is switched back to "living," the nation is moved to the region Lazarus, and a new forum account is created. That means your nation was in Oceania at the time it died.

Naleth is correct on all counts.
