A Curiousity

If the mods eliminated all of the locked threads within Technical and Moderation, I mean, the threads that are locked and serve no purpose for the masses to read (such as requests for thread locks or redundant topics), would that eliminate some of the space on server and maybe make it faster until we switch to Jolt?

Perhaps, this has already been brought up and someone can lead me to the thread.

Why stop there? If a thread is locked in II or General, no one will be reading it any more , especially once it drops off the first page. Why not just delete it?

I agree. I was just thinking we could start with Technical and Moderation, where a lot of threads and ended but continue to remain there.

As I understand General is what drags teh rest of the forum and the game down as well perhaps is folk quit positng in General all together, it would partially cure the problem.

I think General serves a good purpose, to get to know one another within the context of the game on a personal level. Perhaps, long dead threads could be purged here as well.

It happens occationally.

Now, if there was a way to pull up all the locked posts together, that would make things much easier. As opposed to going page by page digging for them.
