I think that a nice "little" (well... maybe) change to the nation/region list screens would be the ability to browse by letter. Alot of people have exploited the fact that its hard to see nations and regions beginning with characters that are not at the extreme beginning or end of the alphabet if you don't know the region's or nation's name (hence the proliferation of "------...." and "zzz.... nations and "0...." and "zzzzzzz" regions.) It would also make browsing through the lists of nations and regions alot easier. Sorry if it's already been discussed, I'm new to the game...

Yeah, it's been discussed, and yeah, it's been considered. All the extra searches have been turned off because of the load they put on the server. Once we move to new servers, maybe ...
In the meantime, try this. All the regions are currently between

If you manually edit the final number in the URL, you can bounce through and zero in pretty quickly. Bear in mind that there are a ton of regions begining with "The", so the T's are huge.
